  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  I have been staying in this hotel for six days. After long flight from Australia I had great time to relax in a comfort atmosphere. Fantastic! Very welcoming staff, great rooms -brand new and clean. Hotel provides you with dressing gown and slippers. Metro station is 7-8 minutes away. One stop to Nevski, prospect. Palace Square - I liked everything, almost. Especially the staff of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. The design of the rooms is also very attractive. I has a room in black and white which I liked a lot. The food at supper was very good. But unlike it was the case in one of the previous review of the hotel (from Poland), the supper was not free of charge. I paid for it ;)

  Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the location - it is situated right in the historic centre of St. Petersburg, all sights are very close - I managed to visit a lot in a very short time and didn't even have to use Russian public transport (which leaves a lot to be desired!!).   The hotel is perfectly located just behind the Ermitage Museum and a short walk from the main shopping street with many restaurants to choose from. The staff was tremendously helpful in recommending things to do. We loved the breakfast which was included in our roomrate.   From the moment I made the reservation to the time I finally walked out the front door, the staff did everything in their power to make life easy.
