This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. It is an apartment located in an old building but with new and very nice facilities. Just across the street from the Hermitage. The price was a little over, but still in a very reasonable range comparing it with traditional hotels in the same area. Each room has a new bathroom, and there is a share kitchen fot only four rooms. The personal is very attentive. Excellent choice.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Authentic Petersburg style:) It is very cosy, clean and it has really comfortable bed.This part of the city is not very noisy so no disturbance during your sleep.
I also liked that breakfast is delivered to your room, no need to get fully ready and dressed before you go to eat - you can enjoy it at the comfort of your own room. The toasts, eggs and sausages were just cooked before serving.
