  The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. - I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

  Less than 5 mins to metro station. The hotel staff didn't speak English but we could manage. Free bottled water and coffee in the hallway, so generous! The hardness of my bed was just right. I wish the bath towel in our room had been a bit bigger and I could have had a face towel too. - Recently renovated, in great condition.   The staff was lovely. Every single one of them. Although the entrance of the building was a little dodgy, as soon as you enter the hotel, it was a very nice, comfortable and home like interior. We loved staying here, and I am sure, if I come again, I will definitely stay here.
