  The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.
