  The staff made my three week experience in St. Petersburg fantastic as all of them were so willing to help in any way possible for my many requests for directions and information. Tatiana and Juliana went out of their way on many occasions to speak with me in English translating all kinds of materials. One staff member is always on site making this small Guest house very safe and personable. - It is an apartment located in an old building but with new and very nice facilities. Just across the street from the Hermitage. The price was a little over, but still in a very reasonable range comparing it with traditional hotels in the same area. Each room has a new bathroom, and there is a share kitchen fot only four rooms. The personal is very attentive. Excellent choice.

It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way).   The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. For example, I had problems getting my rail tickets confirmed online and was about to purchase new tickets if the staff had not worked ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » an entire night to get my tickets confirmed. St Petersburg is such a wonderful city and the staff at Anichkov certainly contribute to make everyone's - The staff were superb and always on hand to help. The location was ideal and meant that everything in the historic heart of the city was within walking distance. The water cooler was very handy!
