  A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki.   The staff made my three week experience in St. Petersburg fantastic as all of them were so willing to help in any way possible for my many requests for directions and information. Tatiana and Juliana went out of their way on many occasions to speak with me in English translating all kinds of materials. Just across the street from the Hermitage. The price was a little over, but still in a very reasonable range comparing it with traditional hotels in the same area. Everything is comfortable: all the necessary facilities, the kitchen,where the guests can have tea or coffee at any time, it's clean and calm in the room.   The location is virtually the best in Saint Petersburg. Very easy to find, very close to the metro, the main street full of restaurants and 3 minutes walking from the Hermitage Museum. Very clean, very simple, shared bathrooms (but clean) and a normal breakfast.   This was a wonderful home away from home - we had access to hot drinks and water and snacks all day, daily maid service, and the location was quiet yet near to everything.
