  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  Location could not possibly have been better for closeness to Nevsky Prospect and Winter Palace. The hotel was in the inner part of a courtyard so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was good and the rooms were in very nice shape. It was really close to nevsky prospekt which is the heart of the city so it was really easy to navigate. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge and clean. Our room was on third floor. It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city. Breakfast is a good spread with lots of variety, definitely saved time and money on that. And the location is excellent- right near Nevsky and just a 10-15 min walk to all main attractions.
