  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  Location could not possibly have been better for closeness to Nevsky Prospect and Winter Palace. The hotel was in the inner part of a courtyard so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was good and the rooms were in very nice shape.   From the moment I made the reservation to the time I finally walked out the front door, the staff did everything in their power to make life easy. Their Tourist Visa Support was impeccable and the airport transfers were extremely punctual, excellent service. The hotel itself is excellent value for money. My room was massive and spotless.
