  (1) Hotel was excellent value for money - especially since it is a 5 * hotel. (2) Location - only 15 min drive from airport and near the museum and souq. Although museum and souq is 20 min walk I decided to take taxi as had young kids which took 5 mins by taxi and cost approx £3.   I stayed at the kingsgate with my dad. We could not have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance of the Islamic museum, Al fanar mosque, the souk and the corniche!
