  The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. After travelling it was great that we could immediately get into our room. The food was good and so helpful to have a weekend breakfast special. The Hotel is so close to town, and this is partly why we chose... mitä ihmiset sanovat » it again. - We liked the rooms, the location to what we wanted, the nice smile from the counter staff , the cleaning of the room.. even though we did not put the ' clean room' sign out, The care of the manager /owner when the quake struck with a cold beer.The blankets given when the fire alarm went ...after standing outside for ages.

  The charm of staying at a real pub cannot be denied, especially coming from the U.S.. The staff was uniformly excellent, especially waiting up for us after our very late-night arrival. We stayed in a King Suite that was not directly over the pub, so had no issues with noise. The room was huge and included a very romantic 4-poster canopy bed. And even though it's not smack in the middle of t - The attitude of the staff was so pro-actively helpful. Manny in particular' went out of his way to be of help.Superb location for the ferry to South Island. A really nice 'pub' atmosphere, the room quaintly colonial, bedding and linen,towels etc immaculately clean. Really comfy bed! Loved the place! Heart-felt thanks to Manny and all the staff....a really cheerful team!

  Location,location, location!!! right amongst everything we wanted to access, Loved the fact it was clean and friendly. For the time of year (Wearable Arts and holidays), also budget friendly. Great place for young people - great meeting place and handy bar attached offering free snack and cheap drinks. Room was small, compact, but had everything w... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e needed. We were happy there and would stay there again. - I stayed at female dormitory with a shared bathroom. Which was handy. Very good location to go to anywhere as it is in downtown. Also there is a bar in a same building and they provided beers with a good deal. Each staff was friendly and I enjoyed conversations with them.

  An oldish hotel starting to show its age, but still a very comfortable and spacious room. It was my second stay at Brentwood, so they are doing something right :-) Staff helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet despite the airport being so close, and having a group of teenage basketball players in the rooms alongside mine. Good wireless connectivity ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » and the cost not too high. - Great location; very near to the airport. Love the free shuttle service. Large comfy rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. We first chose this hotel on our way overseas due to its location and shuttle service to the airport. We liked if enough to book it again for our return flight
