I love these serviced apartments. Second time to stay last weekend, payed for a smaller room and still had all the extra features!!!!! With airport closures due to stormy weather I was unable to make my first night at the hotel and the hotel swiftly changed my booking on the day with no extra charge. I was late finally arriving and staff had remained at reception for me and my room heater had been put on for a cold Wellington night. Would definitely recommend this place, great facilities, comfo.
kaikki arvostelut » Inner city location, walking distance of harbour, restaurants, Te Papa and the cable-car. Right near public transport (and government buildings like the Beehive). Staff were helpful. Good bathroom, adequate kitchen. Would be great for business stay. Convenient loading zone right outside on Lambton Quay for getting luggage out of taxi. On Lambton Quay, go through the door for the Travelex, then around to the right to take lift to third floor reception. The service was excellent - Divyesh went out of his way to help us. Apartment was very clean, well furnished and a good size. Location is perfect for exploring Wellington on foot but carparking is available for a good rate if preferred. Really good value for money and somewhere we would definitely stay again. Service was great, arrived at hotel early as we were going to the cricket, we could get our key for when we came back and bag was all up in the room. Bed was super comfy, apartment was nice, would recommend for people who are going to event at west pac stadium. The owner and his wife, the staff - the design of the apartment. Ive stayed in three Quests (The Terrace and Corner Johnston/Lambton quay) - none of them are a scratch on above - in part due to friendly cheerful helpful and decent Divyesh Patel and family. We liked that the hotel was accessible to the shops below and not a far walk from the water front. The apartment was cosy and was not too expensive. Overall a good accommodation and great friendly staff. th apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we required for our 2 night stay Good location, right in the city, easy to walk to TePapa and waterfront, and the shops were right there. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Laundry facility and no added charge to use the washing machine and dryer. The offer of the $20 cash taxi to the airport pointed out by the staff member. Great location in the heart of the city. Would have liked instructions for operating micro-wave oven - not intuitive. No free internet, unlike all the other places we stayed at - you pay extra (ditto car park). Was about 30 mins from Courtney place but we like to walk. Noise at 4.30 am daily from big rubbish trucks and occasional noise from partygoers at unilodge. The only thing that was a bit if a let down was that one of the showers was partly broken and felt like it was going to fall. nothing. Finding it initially by car was difficult as we were unfamiliar with the area and drove up and down Lambton st. Trying to find it. Let down by the grubby looking hallways and entrance off Lambton Quay. Glass sliding doors in the bedrooms compromise privacy and give no protection from lights in other parts of the apartment. Nothing. We were in Wellington for the earthquake. During this time their was no assistance offered from the staff at all. No staff had any idea of any processes that should take place in this emergency. I had no problems with the place - staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful - nothing I didn't like. Entrance off Lambton Quay slightly difficult to find, and not so nice. Terrace side was good. Beds were very firm, quite noisy if room faces Lambton as there is a bar accross the road, ask for rooms facing The Terrace for quieter night. Would recommend putting an extra stool in rooms when 4 people are booked in as only 3 chairs at table. noting. The location was good but I found it hard to find and had to ring when outside on Lambton Quay because I couldn't find the door. The staff also lacked knowledge and advice. Not because they weren't friendly and approachable but I was sent in the wrong direction for the cable car and not given any recommendations for things to do in the early evening sun. While good at the time, possibly a bit hot and stuffy in the summer. very noisy late night /early morning traffic if staying in aprtment on The Terrace street side. Would be remedied if window double glazing was installed. The road crew who were working outside at 6am. This is not the hotel problem. Street noise from Lambton Quay was a concern during the night but has to be excepted I guess being located in the city. Difficult to drop off bags at front as on a busy Road. Noise from other apartments. Smelly lobby by lifts on floor 5- needed ventilation. We were advised that the cost of a taxi to the airport was 20 dollars when it was actually 37 dollars so left with a feeling that we had been done over (we had previously thought to go on the bus at 9 dollars each). no bath, limited parking. It was horrible to find a parking space to check in. There should be one or two parking spaces in front of the door so you don't have to park 1km away cause there wasn't an other parking space. Street noise during the night. I was on the 5th floor in room one on the Terrace side. It was very noisy with many trucks coming abd going during the night servicing the surrounding buildings and leaving the their engines running. Too noisey had to purchase ear plugs for my second nights stay to get some sleep. Because of this probably woudn't stay again. There wa nothing that i did not like about it. The apartment address on Lambton. ,that is the back entrance ,it was hard to find It would be better to make the terrace as main address. There is where the main entrance is. I thought the decor was a little tired. As a sole woman traveller entering from The Terrace entrance is great at night but the Lambton Quay entrance is alittle isolated at night. City location meant early morning noise from rubbish trucks and delivery vehicles. Impossible to find. No hot water one day. No balcony. NEEDS CHAIN Locks, would have felt more secure. bit of noise from birds. Having to park away from premises and the cost involved with parking.
