  Close to the lake and tourist information. Staff were very friendly but I wish that they had told us we had to order breakfast by 6pm the night before. By the time we saw the notice it was too late to order and the staff had left for the day. - We enjoyed having some space: main bedroom and other room with a single bed as well as a table and a so... mitä ihmiset sanovat » fa to wash TV.   This was our best stay in NZ. The lady at the reception ( Elina) is so helpful. She gave us great advice as to when to leave for Milford sound, not to book unless you are going or lunch cruise, early morning tkts are easily available. She also upgraded us to a better room, the view from the room was excellent. My wife loved the place. We were so ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » happy that we stayed one day more. - Kitchen facilities OK, but a little cramped. Knowledgable, responsive and friendly staff. Some people complain about sand flies in the room, but we had the windows open all night with no bites. Te Anau is a great location for visiting the sounds and the lakes.
