We love Macy's - This is the only place to stay in Tauranga!! The Hosts are so friendly and helpful (we saw a poster advertising Katipo Adventures and got all the info to go and visit). The rooms are set up so well and the Staff are so quick and helpful - nothing seems a bother to them. And it is a quiet beautiful place. Oh and watching the rugby from the Spa Bath. . . Priceless :0). The staff were wonderful. They could not do enough for us, and went out of their way to help with things which were not really their responsibility. If I find myself in that part of the world again, I most certainly will make sure I am staying there.

The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Tauranga. my husband and I only spent the one night, we were pleased there was no significant road noise. host very kindly dropped us at our venue. Very friendly & went out of their way to make us feel at home. Good information on things to do around the area. Warm & cosy. Our room was very clean and had good facilities including kitchenette and free WiFi. Staff were very helpful. Recommend the motel. The owners were really friendly, and obviously love what they do, was a pleasure to stay there and we will be staying there again. Nice and quiet, and very clean place to stay, plenty of room in the compact smaller room for my husband and I. The spa suite is a good size and very comfortable. Our room, backing onto 11th Avenue, was abit noisy for my wife. spa bath not very deep. A little traffic noise that was overcome relatively easy with Tauranga wining and dining. The Internet has been always slow to kick in and speeds way down when others are perhaps using the net. This has been my only worry on both the times I have stayed these past two years. spa bath too shallow. Everything was just lovely & a delicious breakfast thank you!. Road noise. Poor parking.
