Having booked through letsbookhotel.com 6months earlier I rang to confirm 2 days before finding the booking was incorrect. The Staff were outstanding and amazingly helpful. We loved the atmostphere,location and service and wish to thank them. Two of our team members booked two rooms for the next triathlon in two weeks, knowing they've selected the best in Napier... Terrific location on Nrth side of Port. New developments nearby with marina and cafes, restaruants,bars etc...however, I loved the quietness of this locale and lodge. It was simple, clean and comfortable. Great views from all rooms, unobstructed to the sea and swimming beach. And at last a new tv NOT attached to a wall above my head. Hope to return in near future....
kaikki arvostelut » We loved this place and would return tomorrow, one night was not enough. The facilities were immaculate and the staff extremely pleasant and obliging. The rooms were very spacious and tasteful with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The locality was absolutely brilliant. Can't speak highly enough of it. Full Sky TV availabilty. The location is excellent. We enjoyed the walkway. The location of easy access restaurants and the children's playground. The views are amazing. A great location. We usually stay along the beach front in the CBD. In the future we will now be making our stay when in Napier in Ahuriri. Loved the outlook to the sea, with no other buildings in the way. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet yet interesting area with great walkways and short distance to restaurant & shops. Would definitely stay at Harbour View again and recommend to others.. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accomodating. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely look at staying here again for IronMaori next year. The view from our room was also lovely and the staff were very friendly. The Motor Lodge is also situated in a very quiet location but only a couple of minutes from downtown Napier. Great view, proximity to cafes, restaurants, shops and boardwalk. Staff were helpful.The bed comfortable, and lights over the bed head allowed us to read, something that is too often not the case. The rooms were clean. location staff room were perfect, We were booked in for two days and would have loved to stay but because of the stupid easter trading laws in NZ we left as there was nothing opened. great location close to bars cafe and shopping. great to have a bay view. Liked everything. One small thing - needs a dress mirror in main room (we were 4 friends in 1 bedroom unit). We were only able to stay one night. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The minimal, mean number of tea bags, the room design that meant the kitchen was beside the bed. Liquid soap instead of cakes of soap. Initial trouble starting the TV and persistent trouble with the telephone. I had to clean the outdoor seats. Small Dining table to work on in Room when using also as an office. Liked it all and the restaurant next door was excellent. There was nothing to dislike about this motel. I understand the reason for the 2 Queen beds but in the family setup not always convenient with 3 friends or children. The wicker dining table and chairs. east pier resturant food & service not good plunder, tea & coffee not refiled need more towels for spa bath. The booking in procedure, even after paying a week in advance, and myself not being able to sign the register due to eyesight, was challenged trying to get a adult daughter to do so, who was also booked in. Nothing. Old uncomfortable bed, too much noise,bad condensation in room and all windows. In our opinion the rooms need a total revamp. only one tray in oven - made it hard to cook even a basic meal.
