really enjoyed the location of the Hotel and all its views. Also the room was nice,comfortable bed,well presented clean and tidy beautiful spa bath, great pool and workout facilities. All in all lovely place and great customer service. Thanks guys.i would recommend this to others. See you in the future. When I got my room key it was city view and not what I wanted. After explaining to concierge, she upgraded our room to sea view for the misunderstanding and went out of her way to make up another room to our requirements.

I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Gisborne. Loved the dishwasher, washer and dryer, super large bathroom, 2 balconies. The whole apartment had a light and spacious feel. Superb value for money. Staff were great. The room was really comfortable, i was very happy with clean & modern facilities. I appreciated my bag being dropped into the room before checkout. Good location close to everything, easy walking about the town. Comfortable rooms that were clean and well presented. The modern nature of the hotel with plenty of parking and easy access to the rooms. Great to have wi fi facilities. Loved getting the washing done in luxury and being able to cook a roast dinner on holiday.....great pool. Location, close to CBD, port, walks, marina, cafes and restaurants. Room was clean and well designed. The room was clean modern and fresh, friendly staff and lots of information provided in the room. Proximity to town fabulous views of the port spacious...we had the 2 bedroom/2ensuite penthouse. Location Clean and spacious Good kitchen area Two heat pumps Easy parking. The facilities were top notch. An amazing experience. I intend to stay again. The spaciousness of the apartment and closeness to town and restaurants. A lovely self contained unit, with all the facilities needed and more. Loved the privacy and the view. Had all the luxuries and more... Size of the studio and view over harbour. Excellent location. Safe car parking facilities. Access to town. Personal welcome note. everything except the didn't like. Staff were lovely. On the site on the internet (letsbookhotel.com) it did not give option for sea view or city view apartment. Unfortunately we did not get any of the much talked about Gisborne sunshine. So we were not able to breakfast on the fab balconies. It was disappointing not to have a dining room where you could have breakfast. I couldn't get a good coffee easily. The pillows were awful. The TV was far too small (room 225) and we were surprised that there was no lounge chair to sit in. The other rooms we saw were much bigger than ours. Some of the tiles around pool slippery and one end could have a hand rail for pool access as top step is very deep. Room furniture was basic, and a little cheap. Pillows were hard. Bath/shower could be difficult to access for someone of limited mobility. No teapot. The port was noisy during the night and we had to buy earplugs...needed double glazing on the portside bed rooms. The pillows and beds were on the hard side. Poor wi fi Advertised gymnasium was two cardio machines Lounge furniture uncomfortable Too much furniture in the room No TV in bedroom No newspaper available Very noisy by Port Advertised sea view was only a river and Port view really. Nothing. I went to check out at 7.30am on Sunday morning (27/10) and found there was no one at reception,.After waiting 5 minutes,I went in search of someone and I found the girl (Heidi) outside having a cigarette - NOT IMPRESSED!. Nothing. Some noise coming from harbour during night. Airconditioner not working properly. More flexibility on bed arrangements - we wanted a twin room (sisters travelling together) would have been good if the sofa had been a sofa bed. But the receptionist was really helpful and gave us extra beding. Restaurants guide could be updated. No comfortable chair to sit in in the unit. No milk in the fridge to make any hot drink. Shower tap came off I could not shower. To late in the night as the reception was closed. Small basic size room We travel extensively and the TV screen size is a disgrace' Coffee machine in foyer not working. Absolutely frustrating that we has settled down to watch the America Cup only to find that the basic TV 'One' channel had a distorted 'snowy' picture and we had to travel to a local cafe to watch the race. Both above points discussed with receptionist. Would we recommend or visit again - No. Manhole lid blowing around in wind- loud banging. Reception said it was existing problem and to just take it down! Bouncy bed=partner disturbance Tiny TV with poor channel choice Excessive voice and door noise intrusion into room. the tv and the couches. Our 'city view' was the Warehouse carpark... Reception lady was not very friendly.
