We have stayed in many motels in Christchurch as we regularly travel back to NZ to visit family. Amross Court was outstanding. We stayed overnight in a 2-bedroom family unit in April 2013 as we were travelling with 2 older teenagers. The motel is small and attractive. The unit was warm, clean, modern, spacious and had every convenience we could wish for, down to a hairdryer and bedside lights, a pleasant surprise after a very long drive. It is also centrally located and close to Hagley Park .

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment toward the back of the building so we slept well. The room and the property were very well maintained. There are on-site laundry facilities and free Wi-FI. Great stay for 3 nights. Well appointed unit with plenty of space. Free WiFi. Nice touches such as biscuits, chocolates and plunger coffee. Very clean and close to food outlets. Helpful staff, who are welcoming and keen to help guests get the most from their stay.Very comfortable bed. Love the face cloth for makeup!. This motel is convenient to shops restaurants, supermarket and to the centre of the city.It has very friendly staff who gave us sightseeing ideas.Facilities were very good in our accomodation which was clean and comfortable. 10 out of 10, the highest quality in all areas This accommodation was the highest in every way, rooms are large, and the kitchen area is fully equipped. A very nice place to stay with friendly staff and good car parking. Staff were friendly. We had an early morning flight out the day we left and they were happy for us to leave our key on the table inside the unit that morning. So arriving and leaving were both no fuss which was good. Was close to the hospital we needed & easy for me to walk as I don't drive in Ch Ch. Was a lovely place to go home to at the end of the day & so so friendly. Home away from home. Room is clean, new and spotless. Can see that staff takes pride in their work. Every single item is put properly. The room looks new and just renovated. Very friendly and helpful staff. We liked the comfort, style, cleanliness, and spa bath, but especially the fact that our pet dog was welcome and accepted. The sudio apartment was a good size, comfortable, well appointed and recently refurbished after earthquake damage. Good beds, excellent staff at check in (Bruce), free wifi, good shower, handy location near major roads, price. Lovely extras in unit like makeup facecloth and toilet spray. Also chocolates and only motel to have green tea. Walking distance to many restaurants and a shopping centre. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Very central-city location. Everything was excellent. A couch in the lounge would have been lovely. Having to pay to use the washing machine and dryer. Also you were limited as to when you could use the washing machine and dryer which was a problem as we were out all day and the door was locked when we got back. We had to go back to the hotel in the middle of the day just to access the washing machine and dryer. I would normally have used a washing machine and dryer at night and kept my days free. Nothing. The taps at the kitchen is too close to sink. Very diffcult to wash the potsand plates. Would be great if the hot and cold tap cam be combined like the toliet tap. Nothing. Nothing. Only that we couldn't stay another night, we enjoyed it. Smokers downstairs. Nothing to dislike. None. Main road quite noisy for my friend who is used to country quiet. The unit are a tad 'cold' could benefit from a some decor. Maybe a sofa would be good. nothing. No complaints. No faults. Just the bathroom, bit small and a bit noisy when fan/light was going. 2nd Floor / No Elevator. Nothing, All good. Internet service should be better and not so limited. nothing. nothing.
