  The hotel was in a great location in the center of town. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Amsterdam Centraal train station. The staff was very helpful. They let us store our luggage in their back room prior to check-in so we did not have to carry it around town. They were able to book our tours at the front desk. The location is the best you can get in Amsterdam - close to all touristic attractions, shopping, restaurants and so on, as it is right in the middle of the city. In the same time, it's far enough from the hustle and bustle of Dam Square, Red Light District or the trams and cars to be decently quiet. The room had a kitchenette, too, so you could make some tea or coffee or keep some food in the fridge. The floor heating system was qui
