Excellent location, all the attractions/places to visit are within 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. A canal tour and coffee shop are situated right outside the door.
We had the double room with private bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also a little rooftop terrace with beautiful views.
No time restrictions, you can come and go as you please.

we had an excellent time at residence sweets, the staff treat you like family and are lovely, our breakfast every morning was amazing and fresh.. the room was tidy, clean and spacious. excellent location near to all squares and just around the corner is canal trips and shops. we got to come and go as we pleased,excellent. we really enjoyed our stay, and will defiantly be booking again, thank you

our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it
wasn't too loud at night. -

Rudy and Pia are wonderful hosts. I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

My host was very nice! The place was nice and comfortable. It's like a home away from home. It was quiet except for the church bells ringing nearby but given all the possible noise somewhere else, I'll take the church bells anytime! Also serves as an alarm clock for 8am. If the other occupants are rowdy the host will tell them to be quiet.
