  I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle. I emailed Rene before our trip and he gave us some excellent advice regarding transport to the boat and how to get about during our stay. When we arrived at the station we went outsi - The location which was quiet, the breakfasts were great, the bed was large and very compfortable,the coffee maker, the cleanliness of the place the most important of all to us. The weather was so cold and awfull for our trip, we spent a lot of time on the boat, it was warm, there were hundreds of good DVDs so we watched loads, and fed the swans, and ducks through the open window!   Very convenient location in the heart of old Jordaan district with the lovely canal view, yet still in quiet street. Plenty of bars and restaurants around and a decent coffeeshop just round the corner. The suite itself is spacious and very elegant. Interior is luxurious, yet made with a sense for details. Amazing apartment worth the money. Definatly recommendable.

  Indeed my family truly enjoyed our stay in your hotel. All your staff have been wonderful during our stay there. I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival. Going on an evening stroll amongst some of the most beautiful canals ever created, you'll find yourself amid some of the most intriguing sites Amsterdam has to offer (Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square...). At the same time, this Boutique Hotel is located in a part of the city which has such a neighborly feel, you'll find yourself wishing you a resident rather than just a tourist.   We loved everything! Except the stairs. Our room was up 5 floors of steep stairs but if you can get over that... The rest was awesome! Extremely clean, very large, very well equipped, great bathroom, large kitchen area, special comfy beds and very modern.   We got a great apartment in a cool neighbourhood - what more could you need? Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a supermarket in the next street, so you won't starve. Trams are nearby, making it easy enough to get around the city, plus the museums were a walkable distance away.
