Situated 5 minutes from the Riad El Maati is la Kasbah des Oudayas, where traditional tea time is served with views of Bouregreg River. Also nearby is la rue des Consuls, a Moroccan artisan area.

Because of my job I travel on a weekly basis which means I stay a lot in hotels. I can honestly say that this has been one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. I can only warmly recommend this Riad. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful (from making your stay as nice as possible as to organizing taxis etc.). The dinner (which you have to ask for in advance) was very good, as well as breakfast, both in a very cosy setting. The Riad is very cosy and the private room was.

The beds were the most comfortable of all the riads we stay at in Morocco. I felt at home and very comfortable.Even got my laundry done by the staff. I really appreciated all the help and assistance from the staff and owner. Great place to stay at again and again. I highly recommend Riad El Maati. We thought Riad el Maati was really special; a little gem. It is truly a little piece of tranquil heaven located in the heart of the old medina. It can be a little bit tricky to find at first but their location is part of the charm. The feeling is that you truly are their house guests, and the atmosphere is friendly personal and private. We dined in both nights and both times it was great. We would go back surely. The riad is very nicely decorated - simple but smart. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good - just inside the medina - accessible by tram from Gare de Rabat Ville (one easy change at Tour Hassan). They have a lovely rooftop dining area for breakfast and dinner. Rabat is an easy city to get around - and a good place to relax in after the high-octane cities of Fes and Marrakech!. The design was stylish and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the spa bath. Breakfast was an excellent selection of breads, jams, warm honey and eggs done however you wanted. The coffee was good, too. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our stay. The Riad has a nice and relax atmosphere, a great place to chill out after a busy day. The rooms were clean and cozy. The hosts and the whole staff are very friendly and helpful. The food at dinner was excellent. Everything. Wonderful friendly owners and staff. Loved the location, right in the souk - though difficult if you have any mobility problems. Wonderful breakfast and dinner, wonderful hammam! Beautiful room! Can only recommend!. This riad was definitely one of the best of our trip! The riad is easy to find and is very beautiful. It is located in one of the better & cleaner medinas. Good wifi & sunny terrace! Friendly & helpful staff. it is a very nice and cosy riad,quiet,but most of all we liked the warm welcome,the kindness of the staff and especially the manager of this hotel that is very helpful and made our stay here feeling like home. Loved Rabat and Riad el Maati: Design elements a pleasant alternative to more traditional style, superb hammam, cooking lesson, terrace dining, friendliness of staff and innkeepers, great value. Very friendly, attentive, helpful staff. Excellent location. Very good breakfast service and food. Also very good dinner with attentive, friendly service. Felt at home, very exclusive and personiled services!!. Atmosphere/Ambiance. all other. I was guided by a taxi driver (as you are not allowed to drive in this city part), but alone it might have been difficult to find. However, the owners provide you with map instructions. 10/10 !!!!!!. They price everything in euros - then convert it to dirham for you to pay - then your bank converts it back again (if you are from the eurozone). I'm not sure this is a good idea. none. maybe the early morning call from the mosque that may wake you up,but of course this is not under the control of this riad. If roosters, calls to prayer, school children, and the noises of life bother you bring ear plugs. We would be delighted to recommend REM and to return there. Location is deep into the Medina. Ok once there... Getting there was exciting as a fight broke out between our baggage handler and a local pedestrian. location, very difficult to find.
