Friendliness of the team - the young man at reception was very helpful, played with our kid and did his best to make us feel comfortable. Location - 10 min walk away from Jamal el Fna square, but we liked this since we were in a more quiet area and could appreciate the local life as we walked towards the more tourist places. The Riad is close to Bab Dukala mosque, hence light sleepers should have this in mind. We felt that this added to the charm of the experience. The Riad itself - nice rooms,.

The location is very convenient to go to the market and landmarks either new town. The room is very tidy and clean so we were so confortable all the times. We definitely come back for the next visit!. Easy going friendly staff, the riads cook is excellent and the 2 meals we had there were delicious, prepared with love! The rooftop terrace overlooking the medina was very relaxing, the decor in the riad is typically moroccan and there is a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble and we were made very welcome. Beautifully decorated Riad, lovely patio, fantastic roof terrace with great views. Nice rooms which are kept very clean. very friendly and helpful staff which will give you advice on restaurants, excursions, shopping,... Good breakfast and decent (optional) dinner. Great location (10-15 mins to "la place"). Beautiful Riad with the most welcoming owner and staff. So personable and really made us feel at home, they even provided a cake & decorations for my boyfriends birthday. Our room was so warm with lovely decor we didn't want to leave it. Mint tea was always available to refresh us after a day in the Medina. A fire warmed us on the cooler nights. Highly recommended!. Quiet though in the centre of Medina! It would be great to have some fruits and simple hot meals. The only thing I would of liked was my own tea making facilities, whilst the staff were happy to make drinks for you,I do like to be able to make a cup of tea when the staff had gone to bed. Close to a Mosque, so twice a night you will be awakened by the call for prayer unless you have earplugs of course... We should have booked for more than 3 days!. Dinner might be quite costly at Euro 20 per person. The shower sometimes has no hot water. Other than that, no other complaints. The drains smelt in the bathrooms. Stairs, but can't be helped!. the alarm from the mosque next door early every morning, 4,5 & 6am. Nothing. I don´t understand why this Riad has a so good grade in booking. com. I was very desapointed because i expected a fantastic place. The Riad is simple, the breakfast only the basic. There are some good rooms, but others are dark and strange. If i return in Marrakech I would stay in the new city, because the night happens there and is very easy to go to the medina during the day,. In new town you will find modern and good hotels paying the some price or less then staying in this riad.
