I have stayed in a few Riads in Morocco but for value for money, amazing service, beyond what you will get elsewhere.....thanks John- Pierre and Hisham, you will not do better. If you don't, want to see the real Morocco, - Jean Pierre (the french owner) and Hisham (the local guy who works for him) looked after us so well when we stayed for them for 5 nights. They gave us advice to make sure we werent totally ripped off by taxi drivers and vendors in the souks ;). Hisham made us more (complementary) Mint teas than we can could count, The rooms were lovely and typically morroccan styled. The best bit though, was the chill out area one the ground floor, perfect for escaping marrakech(which you will need to do). Th

  The staff at this riad were lovely. They were attentive yet gave enough space to relax but were available whenever needed and very friendly and warm. The roof terrace is great, it gets the sun until its close to setting and has a choice of sitting areas, including a bed! However it's quite a walk from the main square, 20 mins fast pace. This was fine for us - Our staying at the Riad Nejma lounge was perfect. The people who works there were always nice with us and helped in everything that we needed with a big smile. Our room was beautiful, with an maroc atmosphere and it was really confortable and always perfectly cleaned. The breakfast was also delicious and the place that we ate it was nice. El Riad is a perfect place to rest from thw wonderfull chaos that is marraquexe.
