We read very positive hotel reviews with some caution as to their
truthfulness, but all the very positive comments about The Red House
were true. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the
Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and
restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities,
including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel
the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back.

The location of Riad Anya is very central and in a safe,quiet area, the decor of the riad was fabulous,with many shaded areas with comfortable seating just perfect for relaxing.the roof terrace was ideal for catching the sun and the pool just perfect for cooling off.The twin room on the first floor we shared was spacious , airy , comfortable and very clean. palaus donab was a beautiful glamorous peaceful and fragrant haven. Our room was lovely , quiet and private. The breakfasts by the pool with the birds singing were glorious. It was well situated for shops and restaurants and although near the medina was peaceful and safe inside. The staff were courteous and unimposing but bit formal. However they were helpful in finding me an emergency dentist. Thank you and loved the atmosphere.

I have been to Marrakech on a few occasions now and by far my favourite Riad. This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

The location is the best you can expect. It's a 2 min easy walk from Jamaa el Fna. From the terrace (wich is amazing by the way) you can hear the noise in jamaa el Fna but in a good way. Inside the riad it's very peaceful. The riad is beatiful, just like the photos, even though the rooms seem a little more luminous in the net (that was not a problem, there was enough light). Quiet and unassuming, not luxurious but perfectly acceptable. Good facilities, lovely dining area for breakfast, and will provide dinner on request. No baths but perfectly adequate shower. Enough wardrobe and storage for your clothes, large double beds if a little too hard for me personally. Plenty of pillows and lovely warm duvets.

Excellent location and amazing staff!!! My boyfriend and I stayed in this riad after coming from a 3 day trip from the desert, we were exhausted and the staff was great at making us relax and feel comfortable. Smiles and mint tea when you arrive, what else do you need?! You're 3 min away walking to Djemma el Fna!
