A lobby that makes you feel like you've suddenly stumbled into some kind of Shangri-La, bed sheets that smell good, stuffed leather ottomans that I almost wanted to buy from the owner, a rainbath shower head in the large bathroom, lounge chairs on the roof that are perfect for a drink or snack in the late afternoon--the Riad is very well-designed, comfortable, and well-kept. More than that, I'm very thankful for the kindness of the owner and people who work at the Riad. For example, when we wer.
kaikki arvostelut » I live 75% of my life in hotel and I have never before walk up to a more friendly and involved in the customer's needs staff. It really felt like home. It is located in the heart of the Riad which opens a new window on the real Moroccan culture. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely go back for a vacation. The room looked great, stylish but also authentic. Wi-Fi was available everywhere and the breakfast was simple but very tasty and more than enough. In addition as far as noticed the hotel . Joelle and her team made us feel at home at her Dar. She helped us any way she could and served the most amazing breakfast and dinner (upon request, I highly recommend!) on the terrace. As we were the only people staying she went for all the effort just for us, which made it even more special! The location is perfect, right in the medina and easily walkable to the heart of the market. It is not touristy part of the medina but a very 'local' part, which we loved. The room (blue one) was absolute. Our stay at Dar Faracha was just wonderful and Joelle really made us feel like home. It is a small, very personal place with unique, beautifully equipped rooms. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Joelle was a perfect hostess, always ready for interesting conversations about life in Morocco, and willing to help us with all our plans and questions. We will definitely stay at Dar Faracha again if we ever come back to Fes. the owners and the staff were simply wonderful, they offered the best hospitality and kindness french and moroccan: yumm y food, cleaning,suggestion, information, chat and laughters. two days in this Riad and you fall in love Fez and Morocco, and all people of the Riad. Absolutely not to be missed. if we'll go back to Morocco we'll stay at Dar Faracha :-). This riad has been restaured with lots of love for detail. Very nice athmosphere, also thanks to the personel. The owner is caring a lot about her guests and reads the wishes from your eyes. Great french-maroccan food on a roof terass with amazing view on the medina of Fez. Te location is a diamond list in the madness of Medina. You can recover in a small piece of paradise after a day of walk, noise, smells and hot temperature. The terrasse is breathtaking and the family owner is wonderful. An experience you cannot compare and forget. Everything! The food was delicious, the place extremely clean and the staff very friendly, always trying to help you when needed. Had my best ever shower here. and probably also one of my better sleeps, the beds are very comfortable. Since it's located in the heart of Medina, it's not easy to find if not escorted the first time. You can also find lots of locals on the way, trying to get money giving advices and trying to help you, sometimes can be annoying. We suggest to have dinner inside the ryad instead of going out at night. nothing. The only problem you might have is that you get stuck longer than planned in the riad instead of exploring the town :). It was unfortunate that the shower was weak due to the very hot summer. This is not within the control of the host though as it was happening all over Fes. Perhaps an alternative would be stocked water in the bathrooms for quick and easy washing. I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like!. Nothing!. difficult to find. Expensive but good wines.
