Amazing hotel - sparkling in every way, superb staff - 5 star service, with perks like free wifi in the room. Rooms with comfortable double beds, flatscreen TV with decent English and international channels. Clean and neat bathroom. Good breakfast. I'd made a massive mix-up with multiple bookings at the hotel for the same night, and Ms Serinah and Ms Tay graciously helped us sort all these out without a misstep. Location-wise a quick stroll down to the riverside and a 5 min jaunt up to Top Spot.
kaikki arvostelut » The hotel is very well run, comfortable rooms and generous range of food for breakfast. The reception staff were extremely helpful - they booked a hire car and taxis for us, organised a tour bus to come to the hotel to pick us up, and gave us advice on day trip destinations. Other staff in the bar and cafe were also really accommodating. It was a non smoking hotel and located in a fairly quiet area. Staff were attentive and courtious at all times. Selections for breakfast was mainly eastern style and hardly any western foods but it is their country and the variations were most acceptable to me. While interior decoration is remarkable and definitely justifies the "boutique" qualifier, the most striking feature is the staff's fathomless friendliness and availability. Seldom does one find such genuine openness and eagerness to please. Central hotel close to lots of restaurants / cafes - short walk to the main promenade. Great staff, booked a trip to see the Orangutans which was ace. Nice roof top bar to relax in and watch the sunset. Breakfasts were good - great chef. The lobby and the staff are welcoming. The breakfast was excellent! The hotel is eco-friendly so does not provide toothbrushes, and that is understandable. Overall, the stay was comfortable and very valuable in prices. Clean, comfortable room with everything working : Air con, tv, shower, kettle. Friendly & helpful staff, able to provide reliable information. Decent breakfast with suficient variety. Near to local eateries. 3 star+, modern efficient hotel for much cheaper than the big players (like Hilton etc). Very friendly, helpful staff, comfy bed, excellent breakfast. I like this hotel in general, nice room, nice design (very optimistic lime colour in everything). The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly and responsive. Very good staff, terrific breakfast, internet in the lobby even if the wi-fi can be a bit weak, good location for local flavour: you get a lot for your money here. The hotel really comfortable and nice!!. The lift need to have the card to access to the rooms and yhr roof top cafe is nice and relaxing. The staff were helpfull and friendly and informative. My room was a little tired with decor but otherwise well appointed and the amenities were good.Seemed strange that they had a bar on the 5th floor which served wine but when I asked for a glass of wine at dinner I was told they could not bring from 5th floor. (maybe the wine didn't travel well) ??. nothing, thought it was good. The room is a bit small. My windows has no view but the back alleys. However the nice river view at the rooftop lounge compensated that. Room small but ok as long as there are no small children. Location is on the wrong side of town for the local bus stations and characterful eateries. None. For a 3-star hotel, what I got was more like a 4-star service. Unfortunately, there was some problem with my shower (or sewage system). It smelled. Could do with double-glazing and a bit more policing of the no smoking policy, and strengthening the wi-fi, but that's about it. Could'nt fault anything. A little bit noisy (sounds of the street). i can see the effects of impurities on the wall. nothing bad to report. Wifi was sporadic sometimes. No shuttle bus service to waterfront!. Can't really think of anything. Great value but not for those looking for 5 star hotel. Floor in room was grubby. Our white room slippers were full of hairs and grime within a few minutes of being in the room. nothing. The bathroom door do not have the latch and cannot be lock. Alcohol prices. Room a bit small, wifi slow, parking limited. Mattress in our room to soft for comfortable night's sleep. There was a mix-up and my husband and I received twin beds instead of a double. However, they offered to put the beds together for us, so in the end it was not that bad. There is no fridge inside the room. If you ask them, they provide it but too small one. No fridge. thin walls=noisy. the shower in the bath is annoying, the flow of water is very weak and spray is too fine, very uncomfortable . .. The room was a little too small for 2 people with luggage - we kept bumping to each other and the furniture. We were on the 2nd floor facing the street and street noise goes on all day and nite , probably less on higher floors. location out of the way.. No minibar in room. It's a bit out of centre (5 min walk). This side of Kuching has a lot of office buildings. The hotel is an old office building itself. Located directly at a busy street, poor lounge. Cleaning staff knocking on our door before 9am to clean the room!. location. The wifi is weak.
