1. Rooms were cleverly designed and decorated. The size is a bit small compared to other KL hotels but the spaces were utilised fully. Glass and mirrors were used instead of walls to give a feeling of open spaces. 2. Cleanliness. The staff were great & could not do enough to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel was new/being renovated so things had as yet not been finished. Will be in a class of it's own, when finally finished.

Attached to mall which has all what one requires, restaurants, supermarket etc. Nice design with regards to hotel lobby ang rooms and excellent in cleanliness.. Overall Vivatel is superb and the design is minimalis..Staffs are very hospitable and friendly... The decoration facilities & amenities is very modern. Love the enviorament and the friendly staff. Will defenatly come again for my relaxation hotel with my wife... The room rates was real value for money. The Hotel is well maintained, clean and new. Wifi connection all over the hotel is free and connected. Breakfast is also good. Room was very spacious and clean. Great breakfast at the restaurant. Relatively short taxi ride from the central station. By any standard it was very good hotel. Stayed at level 10th floor under wood theme. The room is quite big,nice and clean. With gym and swimming pool. Overall quite satisfied with the this hotel. Attached with Viva shopping centre,easy access for shopping,cinema and foods. Clean room and excellent staff service.. This is a newly opened hotel thus the services are a bit slow compared to well established hotels. However, the staffs are polite and friendly in doing their work. I did not think much of Malaysia. Everything was really over priced, compared with the rest of SE Asia. I will not be going back there. Minor room problems, but they were taken care of by the staff very efficiently, but they do overlook some times clients requirements when client fills out the booking form, such as double bed.. I had twin beds.. Then shifted to another room next day with double bed. Hot water problem still exists in some rooms, so I was shifted again to another room, but again, twin beds. Minor issues which should not be a deal breaker. Negative side NIL...no comment. The tv channel is limited and full of chinese channel. Housekeeping and room service is not 24hrs which can be improved. Suddenly no hot water for shower at night on one day. For location, there is not much shopping around only Viva mall which is only more on furniture. Need to wait 20 minute waiting for parking card to stamp as no machine at lobby hotel. None. The TV was a bit small for the room. The in-room safe didn't work so had to call room service but it was fixed after an hour. The gym is not good !. None. The only thing I hate is wireless & 3g coverage is so bad in lower level rooms (Level 6 - Level 9) .. Level 10 & above is good. In my first stay I requested to change the room from Level 6 to Level 10. In my second stay I requested higher level upon check-in but I was given level 8 due to hotel fully occupied & coverage was still not good. a) The bath sliding door wiggle and making much noise. b) maintenance/housekeeping staff making a racket in wee hours out the room, making people inside agigated. c) there is no communication between relieved staff, new shift staff have to call the customer for reconfirmation and this is annoying. d) the bathroom always flooded. I lived in room, wich has closed door inside to next room. One of the night my neigbors had a party and I heared it like they were in my room, plus they smoked and the smell was terrible in my room too. Don't take such room. We checked in for 2 rooms at around 5pm yet one room is not yet ready for occupancy so we (5 pax) needed to stay in just 1 room to freshen up. Price not much different by booking at the counter. Add more channel tv. the things that i dont really like is they always shortage of queen size bed. i went there for 2 times already, they said queen size bed is not available, only single bed join together. No comment. Must request for newspapers. location. The restaurant did not take in walk in and a-la-carte diner .. I been reject for walk in breakfast. Wanted connecting room but wrote adjoining room when booking. Didnt know it meant differently for hotel terms. Adjoining not = to connecting room. Eventhough room number were given in sequence e.g. 07 & 08, it was few doors away. Rooms are arrange in even & odd numbers. Very confusing. Aircondition was transporting smell of smoker rooms where made, but effort could be improved in looking after small details to. lift system-per room should give 2 key card as if one ppl went up to room ist...the other cant access to go up unless stay inside the lift wait for chances for other to go to your level.if not someone got to come down to pick up. not so good breakfast. when we check in the room, no hot water. we can not take a shower 2hours. need to pay the tax,but all the malaysia,the same,but i'm feel unhappy. charged RM 100 more for security which they have not yet credited and am still waiting for it and calling them mailing them for the last 4 days, staff dont understand english well not in a good location as regards to transportation, cab is the only option. Limited double bed's room. Confusing parking space with no directions. check-in every time have waiting. Receptionist and customer service is not acceptable. I waited an hour to check into my room and my room type, which I booked months earlier were suddenly not available. I also had bookings for following days but was told I have to newly check in everyday. Rooms not properly cleaned up - drank bottle drinks, shampoo not replenished even after reminder to reception, key cards can't access after 1 day, breakfast coupons not released on check-in, keycards malfunctioning ie need to replace. airport shuttle to expensive. Front desk staff could not locate my booking although i did make a call before arriving to confirm the booking. Swimming pool open until 8pm only which inconvenient for those who wish to have a night swim after dinner. Request for check in early, staff no helping at all. The room charges is a bit high. 1. Better to have Larger sign board to LOBBY from the Parking space 2. Only 1 room key was provided, whenever we leave the room to go to Lobby, we have to bring the card and the WHOLE family have to be in dark in the room!. Should do pest control, I found three cockroaches in the bathroom... The breakfast buffet was very bad (moldy eggs) and only asian food.
