  Of all the times I've been to Macau, it was my first time staying at Grand Lapa. I liked the old style charm of the hotel, especially the breakfast buffet dining restaurant. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. I saw the gym area and pool and looked like we were definetly be back next time to try that out.   We got a suite instead of a standard room! It is a great quiet hotel not so far from the historic centre (and they have shuttle buses, so there's no problem getting to the terminal/airport). Great views, nice rooms. - Price is affordable. Location is really good. We enjoyed the beautiful scene of Macau Tower and sea.
