Villa Ban Lakkham is a small, mid-priced, two story, street front villa with 9 well appointed rooms facing the Nam Khan river. Our room was of reasonable size but did not have drawers for clothes. The bathroom is a big plus with its shower for two. Breakfasts were good and served across the street on a patio facing the river. The hotel has a computer with internet access for guests.The villa staff were excellent and eager to help. The location is great; it's on a quiet street by the river .
kaikki arvostelut » Very friendly, helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Our room's balcony mirrored the old world charm of this wooden villa. The staff placed a fan up there to keep us cool (June visit). Breakfast overlooking the river, the gratis use of the hotel's tuk-tuk put this hotel amongst the very best in Lao and Thailand that we've stayed at. Excellent hotel. Location, free airport transfer, very good restaurant (and the included breakfast is delicous), free wifi, river views, free bikes. Mrs. Kung was a supurb host and the rest of the staff was kind, gentle and lovely. They helped us with all our booking and travel needs. Very attentive and available. Our stay was fabulous! The staff made us feel at home the entire time and went out of their way to help us have the most authentic Laos experience possible. Will be back both to Luang Prabang AND Villa Bahn Lakham. Front office manager, Mr. Ono, went beyond the call of duty in helping us arrange our time here. This small hotel is excellent value for money. Staff is efficient and very helpfull and kind. Location is great, just a short walk to the Main Street where alm giving ceremony takes place early in the morning. Room is very clean with good ac. Brekfast is tasty. Would come again to this place. My sister and I stayed here for three nights and four days. Everything was AMAZING! The staff is so friendly and kind, breakfast is delish, they have free bikes, and the location is awesome! STAY HERE! Great value, Great location and Great people. We can't wait to go back!!. The location was perfect for me within walking distance of what I wanted to see. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good with small changes each day in the fruit offered served in a peaceful outdoor setting. I appreciated the airport pick up and return. very spacious room, perfect quiet location in the old quarter close to the Nam Khan river with a lot of wats, the main road and restaurants in walking distance, delicious restaurant across the street, free airport shuttle, free bikes, friendly and helpful staff. This was areally lovely place to stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly. the area was perfect - you could easily walk to shops, restaurants etc and then go back to tranquility. The breakfast was delightful and the restaurant evening meals were delicious. The GH was in a great location just 5 minutes walk to everything. I received a room with balcony facing the river which was rather pleasant. GH was basic but clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was also good. Excellent hotel. The staff were all very kind and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was delicious and they went out of their way to prepare an early breakfast on the day we departed. They also provide airport drop-off. Comfortable room. lack of a common room for mingling where guests could escape the outdoor heat. The stay was perfect, no complaints. Nothing. Hotel was clean, comfortable, great breakkie, and tremendous value for money. Friends of ours had a room elsewhere of "comparable" size at the same time of year and their cost was LITERALLY almost 3x as expensive. The toiletries were rather poor (shampoo and soap). The bed was a bit hard. I also could not open the French doors as the latch was too high for me. I had to go around to close the shutters from the outside. This was a perfect stay, the 10 points are well deserved!. Furniture was a but old and dated. I was facing the river which was also facing road. It got just a little noisy at night. The internet connection was not working in the bedrooms so we could not access the internet unless we came to the main reception hall where one computer was available for all guests. Bed was hard but staff fixed this after it was mentioned. There is some road noise early in the morning but only if you leave the doors to the balcony open. Bad soundproof in the bedroom. nothing. nothing. Could use more sheets or thin blankets for sleeping. Comforter was nice but too hot even with air conditioner.no room service and food ends at 9-10pm. Burning off in the hills this time of year so I couldn't appreciate the landscape. Nothing else to complain about all great. The bathrooms could do with an update. Breakfast disappointing, but then it often is in s e Asia; so no real worries there. The staff cant communicate in english. The staff force you to pay in cash but when i booked this hotel they said. They accept credit cards.
