  The pension is spotlessly clean and comfortable and easy to find (a few tram stops from the main train station). The proprietors were wonderfully welcoming, the Japanese-style breakfast was spectacular and they were so kind as to give us a lift to the airport to pick up our rental car. Highly recommended.

The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.
