  The people who ran the place were so nice and helpful. They advised me where I should go, what I should do and even gave me a free ride back to the station at the end of my trip. The location is perfectly fine for kyoto as Kyoto works on a bus system not really metro. The family that owned the place were extremely nice and helpful (the husband dropped us off at the station when we checked out in his car) (the wife gave us tips and tricks, pointers where to go and which places to check out), the views are impressive, my boyfriend and I felt thoroughly relaxed staying at their guesthouse, on holiday away from the big city.
