  Authentic Ryokan accommodation and an ideal base from which to explore beautiful Kyoto. We found the location peaceful and accessible and it was easy and safe. Great to have access to a share kitchen and laundry, and the communal lounge was a welcome space to read and eat in. Lots of friendly advice for travellers and they let us store our luggage... mitä ihmiset sanovat » when we arrived too early. We used the local Fresco store often - really good food. - Every member of the staff knows English and they are always available to help you. One of the few places without curfew. Very good location. Great Japanese breakfast. Good price on bike rental. Very quiet.
