  Excellent staff I had initially had two issues upon arrival at the hotel. First I had trouble connecting to the hotel wifi. The staff was able to resolve this issue almost immediately by resetting their DHCP server. Second, my booking was for a non-smoking room, but I was accidentally placed in a smoking room.   When I made the reservations online, it said there were no non-smoking rooms available, so I had to reserve a smoking room. When my girlfriend and I got there, the room smelled worse than I imagined, so we went to the front desk and asked to exchange for a non-smoking room, and they allowed us to do that. The staff were very friendly. We were - Very nice hotel. I speak japanese, but my father does not. He had some troubles concerning to this, but that's all. The hotel is very nice, it offers what you are supposed to expect from a 4 stars hotel. Nice staff, nice and spacious rooms considering you are in Japan, and perfectly clean. Also it's like 2 minutes walking from JR Hakata Station, it has a Starbucks right at the corner and one convenience store right below it and one right in front of it. So it really pays off.
