  My daughter and I had separate rooms, which suited us to have the extra space and privacy. The room was very comfortable, beautifully clean, and we liked having a fridge and kettle.   This is a perfect hotel, I wonder why it is not on top of the list. Location is great, very close to the Hakata Station which is very convenient if you have daytrips to other parts of Kyushu, the hotel is very clean and everything looks new, staff is extremely polite and helpful.   Our family of four was traveling around Japan and wanted a nice place to stay near the train station. We were happy to have two rooms for a good price. We enjoyed the onsen and the attached restaurant. A very good value. - The public bath in the Japanese style is great!! The breakfast is very nice and its value for money (JPY 800) is not bad.

  When I made the reservations online, it said there were no non-smoking rooms available, so I had to reserve a smoking room. When my girlfriend and I got there, the room smelled worse than I imagined, so we went to the front desk and asked to exchange for a non-smoking room, and they allowed us to do that. We were - Very nice hotel. I speak japanese, but my father does not. He had some troubles concerning to this, but that's all. The hotel is very nice, it offers what you are supposed to expect from a 4 stars hotel. Nice staff, nice and spacious rooms considering you are in Japan, and perfectly clean. Also it's like 2 minutes walking from JR Hakata Station, it has a Starbucks right at the corner and one convenience store right below it and one right in front of it. So it really pays off.
