  location is very good, in the center of the city, most suitable for people who love city views; steps aways from JR station and airport limousine bus; rooms located on 21-27 floor, very good sight; modern facility, shower water hot and soft, rooms small but sufficient, esp. for short stay of business travellers; the renovated rooms are more modern... mitä ihmiset sanovat » , esp. suitable for women (we booked several ones so were able to see the difference between new furniture and the less recent pieces in different roo - We reserved a standard double room for 2 nights and upon check-in we were told our room has been upgraded to the superior room on the 27th floor without any extra fee! Absolutely a very pleasant surprise. The room was great with all the facilities, and it's very spacious compared to Japan's standard. The lounge on the 27th floor was just lovely. Location is also unbeatable: it's steps away from jr Osaka station and subway Umeda station.

  Loved the hotel's location. It's very accessible from the Osaka Park Subway Stop on the JR Loop. Makes it super easy to get around and it's lovely to get up early and go for a walk in the park! We paid extra for a room with a castle view and it was well worth it. Even though I asked for a non smoking room well ahead of time, I was told upon arriva... mitä ihmiset sanovat » l they didn't have any to give us. However I couldn't tell the room we had was a smoking room to begin with, and my nose is very sensitive and I had n - The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.

  The hotel itself is out of this world. I was expecting something good, but my stay there far exceeded expectation! Great room, great bed and amenities; duck down quilts!!! Felt like 1000TC covers. Staff are pretty fluent in English. It's situated smack bang in the middle of the Osaka nightlife, but very quiet! This is the real Osaka on a plate!!! - Hotel with great location, just 2-3 minutes walk from Dotonbori restaurants and nightlife and all the endless shopping arcades. The room was very clean and everything felt new and inviting. Room size was enough for our 2 suitcases and bags so we didnt have any complaints at all. Breakfast was ok but we didnt feel like it was worth the money.

  This is a very fine hotel with every amenity, except coffee. There is a small train line that goes to the door. The area is Rokko Island, wiped out in the 1995 Kobe earthquake, so everything there is new. If you want to stay in an up scale hotel in Japan and don't have much cash, this is the place.
