We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise. Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. Absolutely wonderful hotel, which deserves all the best rating it has. I would say it is rather 3 star hotel than B&B. New, clean, comfortable, close to city centre and railway station featuring open terrace, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine that allows you to have proper cappuccino for breakfast. Grazie mile, Alfonso, for your warm and welcoming hospitality. It was the best hotel in our 10 days trip in Italy. We will definitely recommend belvedere for anyone who visits Sorrento

The hotel has the most spectacular view of Sorrento and the coast. The hotel provides easy axcess into Sorrento via a shuttle. We would recommend finding out the shuttle or bus schedule prior to arrival in Sorrento since the taxis to the hotel are pricey (Euro 50).
