  We travel frequently and are discerning about facilities, however I have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, except for a few minor problems due to the time of year, immediately after the New Year. - This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in.   Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
