  Villa is perfect place for those that look autenthic experience in Toscana. Quiet, close by Florence, Pisa, Sienna... and after active day outside you may enjoy beautiful garden and view. We had quadruple room which is very comfortable.   We went to Venice, on a 7 day cruise and then we drove to Florence for a few days and stayed at Villa Poggio Ai Merli. Everyone was friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the room was perfect. My husband and I wished we had more time to spend at the hotel.   This is a farmhouse in an olive grove just outside of Scandicci. It consists of several buildings. We were the only guests at this time. Private bathroom was outside the room just down the hall, newly renovated and large. Breakfast was ser - This is a really great place to stay. It's super convenient if you are travelling by car and want to travel into Florence. it is close by to the fantastic tram line, where you can park at the tram station for free and from where for 1.2 euro you can get into the city. The villa is charming and Ricardo the host is very helpful and friendly.
