Among all the agriturismo that we stayed in, this was by far the best! Location was beautiful, on Mount Subasio, so you get a nice view of the Umbra countryside. The room was great in terms of size, cleanliness, quietness..etc. The in-house restaurant also served pretty good food, so we were able to enjoy a nice sunset before heading in for dinner. Thank you Alex and staff at Le Mandrie for a memorable stay!

Rita was attentive before we even arrived. She advised us of parking
(which is in a secure public lot a ways from the B&B) and offered
help with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that

Good security staff while only on site for breakfast went out of their way to help us including picking us up from ports nova bus depot and taking us up the hill in their car which was appreciated by New Zealand travellers who had been travelling over 25 hours to get to this first port of stay. Right in the center of the city. Stayed Rome the night before for same price and got bathroom outside room, and peeling wallpaper. This place is a gem.

This hotel could not be any closer to the local bus station which takes
you to the train and back for 1.5 euro each way. This is a 5 minute ride
at the most. Unfortunately, I had a sly fox taxi driver bring me to the
hotel and he charged me 15 euros. Initially he said 20 euros, but as I
had a fit, he reduced the price. I had asked him how much it would be
and he said he has a meter. . . Anyway, the lesson here is still persist

The charm of the owners and the location of this hotel to the bus depot and the center of the city were just great. While this is not an upscale hotel, and everything about it is not perfect, I would not hesitate to stay again. The view from my room was just stunning.

Very good facilities and the best if you are driving it has a parking rigth in front of the Hotel. Satff very good and the restaurant food and service is superv. they provided a 10% discount to Hotel guests. - Charming place, rooms with a great view. Everything was lovely. Great location. It was an amazing experience staying at Giotto Hotel and Spa just
minutes from St. Francis' Basilica. The staff and facilities at
Giotto were terrific. The views from our room looking out over the
hillside city of Assissi and the plain below are unforgettable. We
enjoyed dinner at the hotel and it was exceptional and also
unforgettable. Our waiter was terrific. Perfect in every way!!!
