This apartment was fantastic. Great location 1block from Metro station between termini and colosseum, great area with lots of restaurants etc, always happining. Great for day or evening stroll to colosseum and forum sites. The apartment was very comfortable and 'as advertised'. Has ac, cable tv, working wifi(!), full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, laundry machine (yes!). Absolutely perfect for a family of 4 (master king bed, separate room with 2xtwin). Would also work well for tw.
kaikki arvostelut » Tip Top Location. 10mins from the rail terminus dragging our cases. Wonderful shop nr the metro station 3mins walk. A nice eatery 56 steps away. The best ice cream in Rome a few footsteps further. 100 meters further you see the colosseum. The only time we used the metro was for the Vatican 1.5 euros away, one change, 20mins. VERY quiet apartment. Handy enough to nip back to for a siesta when we started melting. And upload your facebook pics via free wifi. Just what you need for a city break. We spent three days in a small apartement in via degli Ibernesi street, just few meters from the foro romano (100) and Colosseo (300). The apartement was realy nice, clean and comfortable, small but good well equipped for four persons stay (one bedroom, the living rome wih the convertible bed and small kitchenette. We loved the stay there. very nice staff, close to Colloseum, metro and Termini, in a walking distance to Palatine and Forum Romanum, some very nice and affordable ristorantes and pizzerias in the near vicinity. It was a wonderful apartment with everything you could want, very comfortable in a fantastic neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping nearby. It was really cosy and clean apartment. There were a lot of facilities like coffee when we arrived, DVDs, books... Great apartment in a great location. The views from the rooms were fantastic. Great location, well-appointed, perfect for our time in Rome. was a very nice place to stay, very comfortable. Spacious apt,close to amenities ,. I liked where its located. good and safe location. Great location. location. Location is nearest of Colosseum,in the center. There is a lot of plants,flowers.The place is quiet.If you like sport(run,bike) or travel with children-the beatifull park is near. The location is OK and the modern furniture is also very functional. The location was good and the appartment was big enough. Everything needed was avaliable (sheets, towels, appliances). Good Location. Nothing!!! Do not book Casa Girasoli or Casa Alessandra!. The only thing I can think of is that it felt rather cheap of you to not have a little soap or shower gel and very little loo roll (late arrivers beware). But its self catering so we were buying food at the absolutely excellent supermarket 5mins walk, by the Metro station. The house and the surrounding streets are a little bit dirty but they have a specific atmosfere especialy at the evening. There were no sharp knives to cut either bread or cheese. The sofa bed is not really comfortable. No fans - I can understand no AC, but when it's mid 30s and there is no air movement it's a bit hot. It wouldn't be too expensive to put a fan in each bedroom. said that wifi was available but then told that wifi isnt in the room and pretty much accused me of being a liar, wifi was very important to us with booking more accom and keeping in contact with family but thats the only thing that we had any problem with. Sofa bed in Lounge was broken and very uncomfortable ,details for WFI,connection was incorrectly given at time of arrival,. You musn't live in basement. ground floor. The room is wet,dark. If you like warm-shood take sweater. It's promoted as apartment with "terrace", but actually the terrace is a deep court with no vue, no sun and poor light. For the price we paid (€ 200 per night) the comfort was poor. The shower is dirty and small, the furniture and appliances are old and the appartment is very humid. Bathroom was disgusting. The shower was so bad we barely used it. The bedrooms got damp during the day and hence it felt very wet when sleeping during the night. Because of the moistness of the room, we could not stay at home. Both are basement apartments that were smelly and damp with visible signs of mold. They tried to cover up the smell with an automated air freshener. Beds and futons were hard and consisted of a thin mattress pad, pillows were flat and smelly. Shower did not drain, couches were stained, no wifi service in one of the apartments. Bathroom/shower in one apartment must have been a converted closet; extremely small and you had to sit sideways on the toilet.
