-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

People responsible for the B&B are very friendly.
Excellent location (walking distance to airport, roughly 1 km).
30 minutes from Piazzale Roma (Venice) by bus 5.

Voto 10 Meritato! Clean, comfortable and spacious (inside and out). The direct access from our room to a little patio with table and chairs was convenient for the few times we decided to buy lunch/dinner and eat it at the B&B. Perfect location to visit Lake Garda and everything it offers. This B&B was like having our home away from home with a pool! Breakfast was always a pleasure! After flying into Marco Polo airport and getting our luggage onto the Alilaguna ferry, we really appreciated knowing that we would be met at the Lido ferry terminal. Our host gave excellent directions for how to get about by bus for the rest of our stay.

Elena was a wonderful hostess. She welcomed you with open arms and couldn't do enough for you. The accomodations were grear, the bed very comfortable and a well appoined roomy ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic, with wonderful coffees and juices, fresh rolls, breads and cakes. you can tell that Elena and Moreno love what they are doing, and if we get the opportunity we will definitely book with them again.
