  We were the only guests. The staff were amazing, and helpful, the restaurant was closed and we were told of a place down the road or a coop in the near town, we had a small kitchen and an open fire, so with food and drink brought and a roaring fire we were set. We were told not to rush to leave, what an amazing place, a must - Beautiful castle--more like a village than a castle. Food superb; staff helpful and friendly. On-site shop. Wonderful views of the countryside. Spacious bedroom with sitting room. Housekeeping superb. Free computer usage (one supplied) including wi-fi. The overall experience of staying there was wonderful!

  Above all the sincere kindness of the hotel staff, never experienced this level before. The spacious room with perfect bed and pillows. The quiet and beautifull area and relaxing atmosphere. The pool and poolbar with good food and drinks for very reasonable prices.
