The building is historic, but the interior has been modernized and the apartment has everything you need, including a well-equipped kitchenette and good wifi. We planed initially to stay at Vicolo dell'Oste for only one night, but was happy to prolong time of our stay to 3 days. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.   Very beautiful house and garden. Rooms well equipped on a high standard, you could even say luxury. For example: Flat screen, new and quite air conditioning, comfortable bed with good pillows etc. The beautiful private bathroom is just across the corridor, so it did not bother us at all that it was not in our room. Good location to stay out of town but still close to explore Pisa and Lucca. The be - Great host and breakfast and perfect location for driving around. Just 5 minutes from Pisa on car (although, Lucca and mountains around are more interesting than Pisa). Also, there is an awesome wolf living on premises. Don't worry, he is afraid of humans, so they keep him completely separate from guest area. You won't even notice him probably.

  Everything was perfect. The BB was cosy, clean, we felt like home. The moment you enter the apartment you feel a very nice scent and get a warm sensation. Very nicely decorated. Leonardo and Stefano were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I had a very beautiful birthd - My room was upgraded to a double room with balcony on my arrival , which made me very happy and i staked happy throughout the stay. Light refreshments were available 24 hours. The room was clean and near enough the city centre to walk comfortably and far enough away to feel relaxed after a days sight seeing. The gardens that line the Arno on the way to centre and in the other direction are truly lovely. Next time I will explore the area around the hotel as this area looks very interesting and h

Storage space for luggage and daily servicing. Their restaurant was a fair way up the hill but excellent. The staff were very helpful and supplied the extra things we requested for our stay (eg extra bowls, glasses, fix air-con etc)
