  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc. The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel as it would be difficult to find initially. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge.   This is a luxury hotel which you can tell from its price, but the view is worth everthing. Great location, just on the centre of Taormina's main street. This is a lovely place to stay if you want a bit of luxury and romance. It is offcourse a bit expensive also the bar and restaurant. But that is understandable - you get what you are paying for so it is OK.
