Fantastic view from the private terrace over Cannigione. We stayed in 2 rooms, both clean and comfortable. The room with a private terrace is a must, so stay in this room if you can, it is worth it. Excellent location, boat trips from the harbour, bars and restaurants just down the hill. Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! The general quality of the accommodation was excellent, the gardens beautifully maintained and the location between town and beach perfect. Breakfast was generally good but even though most of the guests clearly came through a UK tour company, local cheese instead of processed packets would have been appreciated. Great Amenities/Views when staying in Junior Suite. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff as they tried in earnest to respond in English and help with all my needs. For people with cars, their free parking was great and location was very accessible to the city as well as getting out of the city. Really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and turkish bath.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!
