  I was welcomed by a lovely brother and sister who ran the hotel. They were extremely friendly and helpful.The room was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilites including aircon, fridge, hairdryer, wifi and elevator with safe card access.   This was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Of course I have stayed in resorts with more "fancy" accomodations, however for the value there was no comparison. My husband and I stayed at four diffierent B&B´s in Rome during our visit, at the same (or even more expensive) price point, and Hotel Fermi far surpassed them all.   The position is excellent. On the fourth floor of a substantial palazzio gives the hotel an authentic feel. The manager was very welcoming. The rooms were large, well appointed and the verandah was special for a private breakfast or evening drink. An oasis of privacy after battling the tourist hoards - The location was excellent!! Stay here for easy walking to all of the sites and the metro station at the Spanish Steps and Barberini. We had a little balcony which was lovely and a perfect place to eat breakfast. The staff were very helpful. The place and our room was kept quite clean. We had no problem with street noise or noise from guests.
