  This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. The new feeling is one of a boutique hotel with an intimate feeling. The entire staff went out of its way to meet our every need.   Hotel Poseidon is perfectly placed in the beautiful Positano with beautiful views across the bay. It has a lovely charm. The terrace is a relaxing place for drinks and just to take in the views. Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill. The room, a superior, was clean and comfortable. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The views are magical. We felt at home at this hotel. The balcony off the room was perhaps the best room feature we have experienced and the robes and slippers were a nice touch.

  Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.   We stayed in at least 7 hotels during our trip to Campagna and this was one of the best hotels we stayed in. Lovely new hotel, staff is very responsive, rooms are big, american size if not even bigger. Non smoking property, nice balconies with lovely mountains view. I highly recommend it for its excellent value for money.
