Michele, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very helpful on advising us how to reach the main sights and suggested and booked a great restaurant for us. The following morning after a really good breakfast Michele drove us to the airport. I don't think I've ever had such service.

The host, Michele, was so enthusiastic about his property and Pisa. The property was superb, it had the best facilities of all establishments we visited on our tour of Italy, even tea & coffee making in the room and a computer. Motion sensing lights in the public areas, thoughtfully placed lighting in the rooms, and the bathrooms featured Michele's photographs in ceramic tiles - beautiful. he also listened to our plans and made helpful suggestions to maximise the time in Pisa. Parking on site, the place was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was surrounded by nature, quiet. Well equipped kitchen and a great place to rest for a while. Would have to stay longer after much travelling, however had to move on. Did enjoy the 2 night stay. -

Everything. This hotel cannot be faulted. The 'bad reviews' that this hotel has recieved have been written by what my girlfriend I have considered to be 'snobs'. Really freindly welcome and a fantastic location in Pisa. Recommendations for resteraunts given to us by the manager (Luca) were the best we found in Italy. He even booked the table for us. We had the bigger room which comes with a private balcony. Plenty of space four 4 of us and room comes with a double and two singles which is good for families.
They were happy for us to leave bags with them all day, which is great if you have a late flight..

Location was very close to Tower etc. and very accessible, although you cannot walk from airport or train station as one might assume by distance posted.
A no-frills kind of place but for price served us very well for first and last night of our trip.
Staff was TERRIFIC!!! We encountered many different staff throughout our visit and they were all very personable, most helpful and very accommodating.

We loved the friendliness and the help/advice as to where to go and the location of the best pizza in Italy. Although worried about the street noise below our window, we had the best sleep ever and woke late, however, no problem, we left our bags there for the rest of the day.
