  This was a great place to stay in Rome! The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a nice size bathroom. We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere. We really loved the neighborhood feel of Trastevere. There were numerous bars and restaurants to choose fro - I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

Staff was the highlight - super recommendations for tours and restaurants; very helpful - told us exactly the fare to pay for the taxi; extremely accommodating when we arrived at midnight after a late flight - we will definitely return!

When we checked in, we were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which is always a nice surprise. Town House Spagna is a very cute boutique style hotel and has very pretty furnishings. We had a short stay but it was a pleasant one.
