  The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby restaurants. Their recommendation for Scaletta restaurant was spot on, great food, very reasonable prices. Liked the garden, lovely for eating break... mitä ihmiset sanovat » fast in the sunshine. The 'shared bathroom' wasn't a problem at all, as the 'bathrooms' are actually each a small, separate room containing its own to - the staff was very friendly and polite. breakfast was good for us. i travelled with my mom and she enjoyed having breakfast in their green well maintained terrace, may be not enough for male travellers but for us it was more than ok. in walking distance to most sights. at first it was hard for us to find it so i would recommend to write them and ask for directions paying closer attention to how manyy blocks and which streets to pass once you get off the bus near the bridge. rooms are as simple

  the location was fabulous and we felt very safe there. We were in walking distance of most of the tourist attractions and also close to transport. Plenty of cafes right on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this Inn and this area. - Only three rooms but very nice and confortable in the middle of the old city!

  Firstly i would like to say thank you to the girls at reception, were absolutely brilliant, they are friendly and super helpful, they went out of their way to help us by booking 2 tours for us and printing the tickets etc, the rooms are well appointed and although there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room there is a dedicated room ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » with a coffee machine etc at your disposal, it is well located, being in walking distance to most of the main attractions and only 20 metres from the - Rome River Inn is fantastic! Don't bother searching any further for the perfect place to stay in Rome. The rooms are good size, very comfortable and well appointed. Location on the river allows easy access to all the sights. The 3 lovely sisters who own and run the inn are very warm and welcoming and will help in any way to ensure your stay is perfect. Very nice breakfast too! We will definitely stay at the Rome River Inn on our next visit to Rome.

  Amazing hotel in the heart of Trastevere. We wondered around to look for places to eat near the hotel, and we never had a meal that was anything less than delicious. The owners are so kind and helpful. They let us check in late, and told us how to get everywhere in Rome. The room was small, but very beautiful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a true I - The staff were excellent. We were a bit cold in our room and they came within 20 minute to turn up the heat and to turn up the water heat as well. The staff was very punctual, breakfasts were delivered on time, and they were flexible with our checkout as we had a later flight. The room was in a brilliant location--we walked everywhere. We highly recommend it.
