You need to know that when driving there you need to drive through the "Porto St Marco" gate, ignore the no cars signs and camera, when you get to the hotel, park anywhere, drop your bags, give them your registration and they arrange a permit for you and give you directions to their car park which is under the hote

  The apartment that we had had two double rooms, a shared bathroom (with shower rather than bath) and a well fitted kitchen/diner. The diner had a gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a washing machine - all of high quality. A well located, well equipped and well looked after apar - We enjoyed everything at the apartment, the view was amazing and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. We were welcomed by Roberta, a colleague to Ennio, who was SO nice and wonderful. She had stayed up way after midnight to let us in, and she was so kind a funny to talk to. The steps up to the place is of course hard, but what do you expect when renting a place on 4th floor – just enjoy the old building! Siena is great – we have now been there 9 times and will continue to return to t
